Intro

MS Films has been rocking with NEMA films for just about a year now. With Me Morgan Sweeney as your main filmer, editor, director, and basicly everything else on MS Films. MS Films has had some help throughout the year with Randy Cardwell as a back up filmer at some of the local races such as Southwick, Winchester and hopefully Capeway Rovers. We are just kinda looking to film around for fun right now but hopefully by the end of the year well have enough good footage to create a pretty good film to show most of the NEMA races and some other local races. Currently I am using a Canon GL-1 an older camera but its better than nothing!

Be sure to contact us with any ideas for films or if you want to have your own video created for your own and for sponsorship resumes at msfilms850@gmail.com

How It All Got Started

I started filming about give or take three years ago. We had gone to local pro racer, Billy Ainsworth's, for a annual riding party in late fall and after everyone had gone my dad handed me a camera to film Billy throwing down some fat whips on his new 450f I think.

I got immediately hooked on it. I hopped up on a bobcat to get a pretty good shot of him hitting a table brought it home and really started from there. I kinda stayed low with filming for about a year, and then started making videos from our last year's South Carolina trip with a couple of other people. Yea the first couple of videos sucked with quality, and editing but I was only 11 at the time and using Windows Movie Maker for an editing system (laugh all you want). I quickly started talking to a couple of filmers over the internet such as Wes Williams ( Vurb Moto), Travis Steward (NEMXS), and Nick Sannicandro ( Open Air Films) and all seemed to tell me to take a chance at Sony Vegas. I found it pretty good and bought it. I hope to buy Final Cut Studio soon or get something as good. I started out with a little Sony Handycam at a local store and it had pretty good quality and so on. Then I soon updated to an older camera but a better one , A Canon GL- 1 Mini- DV. I find the quality good and especially good quality for me a 12 year old. A couple of people I'd really want to thank for actually keeping me motivated to film are ;  Travis Steward, Ryan Walters, Wes Williams Nick Sannicandro, and Robb Swiatek. All these people make me want to go and make an awesome film and maybe even win an XTremey Award who knows maybe in 8 years when I'm 20 I'll at least be a nominee.
